1. Brew 2 shots of espresso, pour into a (heatproof) glass and stir.
2. Steam the dark chocolate powder with milk (or a dairy free option!).
3. Pour into the glass for a superb chocolate experience.

For a cool, fiery alternative, try this Van Houten recipe from Nicole Battefeld:

• 35g Van Houten dark chocolate powder
• 1/3 chilli (sliced)
• 1 double espresso shot
• Ice cubes filled with chilli
• 30ml maple syrup
• 150ml oat milk

The steps:

1. Put the Van Houten dark chocolate powder and 1 slice of chili in a glass.
2. Add the espresso and stir.
3. Place 1 chili ice cube in another glass.
4. Pour the dark chocolate mix on top. Add the maple syrup and finally the milk.
5. Decorate with a slice of chilli.
